11 things to BE this week:
Be present.
Be thankful.
Be forgiving.
Be loving.
Be courageous.
Be open.
Be honest.
Be generous.
Be the hardest worker I know.
Be better than I was last week.
Be who God has created me to be!
I don't understand parents providing alcohol for teenagers. Its irresponsible, illegal, and nothing good ever comes from it. My children's future is to important to me to risk it with encouraging under age drinking
You wanna be the best?!
Make sure you’re giving your all:
In the classroom
In the weight room
During workouts
Throughout your school
At home
In your community
With things you put in your body
At church
Around your elders
When you’re with your peers...
And in ALL YOU DO!
4 things to ask yourself at the end of each day:
1. Was I better today, than I was yesterday?
2. Did I empower others?
3. Did I make the world a better place?
4. If today was my last day, can I look my God in the eyes, and say; “I used every bit of talent You gave me!”?
Every time you allow a teammate to be lazy, cut corners, or not give their absolute best during the off-season, all it’s doing is creating a pattern for them to do the same when it matters most, and the game is on the line!
Great idea, in high school basketball with a lead in the 4th quarter, don't shoot! Pincrest stalled the entire quarter which is smart coaching. Pretty sure they did not shoot a single shot outside the lane the entire quarter. I've been preaching this all year for Davie!
If our focus is solely on winning games, we've created a culture where athletes see their worth in rings.
If we focus more on empowerment, hard work, love, and character, we create a culture based on RELATIONSHIPS, that will change the world forever!
Success is not given, success is earned.
1. Dedicate yourself to God
2. Dedicate yourself to your education
3. Dedicate yourself to whatever you want to do
4. Remove all negative people or things
5. GO GET IT
