The bid for the White House from the Republican end in the upcoming 2024 US Presidential election is becoming crowded with more and more politicians throwing in weighs just to get a chance through and over Trump, especially the Indian-descent politicians.

Vivek Ramaswamy, a multimillionaire entrepreneur and author of the book Woke, Inc., was amongst the first ones to announce his presidential bid on 21 February with an appearance on a Fox News show and a video laying out his political views. He wants to launch a "cultural movement to create a new American dream" based on the "pursuit of excellence" - and he says "diversity is meaningless if there's nothing greater that binds" people.

Nikki Haley, the former South Carolina governor and United Nations ambassador, announced her candidacy for president on Tuesday, becoming the first major challenger to former President Donald Trump for the 2024 Republican nomination.

The announcement, delivered in a tweeted video, marks an about-face for the ex-Trump Cabinet official, who said two years ago that she wouldn’t challenge her former boss for the White House in 2024. But she changed her mind in recent months, citing, among other things, the country’s economic troubles and the need for “generational change,” a nod to the 76-year-old Trump’s age.

Hirsh Vardhan Singh, an Indian-American engineer, also has announced his bid for the White House. In a passionate 3-minute video message shared on Twitter, Singh proudly proclaimed himself a "lifelong Republican" and a staunch "America First" conservative. He highlighted his past efforts in spearheading the restoration of the conservative wing within the New Jersey Republican Party. His core message centred around the urgent need for strong leadership to reverse the changes that had occurred in recent years and to reinstate fundamental American values.

Who will get through this vying for the party's nomination-stage? That'll be decided with time but amongst these three, Vivek does seem to hold and upper hand with Nikki having a more experience in the field.
