Today, and every day, we thank Aline Barnsdall for this thoughtful contribution to the citizens of Los Angeles. We know that in the 95 years since, Aline's gift of @barnsdall has indeed grown by leaps and bounds.

Aline bestowed this "Christmas gift" to the City under one condition, that it leaseback the acquired property to the California Art Club so that they may use Hollyhock House, and its gardens, for the purposes of art and education.
