Today Nursery have been practising their counting. We started the day with a number rhyme, 5 little cakes, then we counted the correct number of candles on the cakes and we played a cupcake pairs game! @BarntonMrsL @barntonminis

A new story, a tiger and a tea set arrived in Nursery today. We made predictions about the story, then we listened to the story carefully and had our very on tea party with a tiger. @BarntonMrsL @barntonminis

Although Bonfire Night will be very different this year, in Nursery will thought it was still important to talk about safety using sparklers! We learnt the rules and we acted out how to use sparklers safely. Ask us, we can tell you how to be safe! @BarntonMrsL @barntonminis

This morning Nursery have been learning about Bonfire Night. We made firework pictures, used our colour mixing skills to make brown for the wood in our Bonfire pictures, dressed up as Firefighters, put out fires and listened to stories! @BarntonMrsL @barntonminis

Today in Nursery we had fun exploring different textures and developing our fine motor skills. @BarntonMrsL

Today in Nursery we carried out a germs experiment to help us remember the importance of washing and sanitising our hands. @BarntonMrsL

Today Nursery have been learning about 2D shapes. We made shape houses, used natural resources to make shapes and even tried to make shapes with our hands! @BarntonMrsL @barntonminis
