@Mukiteee For those who didn't go to campus, it's ignorance. For those who did, it's pretending cos they know what private sponsored students paid. 200-300K a year. With student loans now let's demand the best accommodations, meals, learning materials, labs, motivated lecturers etc
@Mukiteee A financial ticking time bomb that has been kicked down the road for a decade. One of the reasons Varsity couldn't sustain itself. The other problem is Uni debts. Kenya has been running too many social programs unsustainably. Better start making changes now than sudden halt later
Trade-offs, unis taking too long to adjust their programs to mkt conditions na failed govt promises juu higher education being stuck at 16k was being done with guarantees being provided by the govt and they never met them. At a future date, someone was to foot the bill
