@NES_Professor I think they milked the hell out of the Rock Band and Guitar Hero franchises so people got sick of them, but I'd actually like to see them come back (with better licensing arrangements this time).
The first Kingdom Hearts game came out in 2002. Every time a new game in the franchise is announced, the first thought that pops into my head is: "Who is playing this shit and why?"
"This is generative AI slop! I support artists!"
Then proceeds to buy a game designed by committee, which is derivative, regurgitated, and vetted by teams of consultants to not offend anyone so it can be easily digested by the masses and then quickly forgotten.
I think the general opinion of the internet right now is that IGN always sucked. I don't share that opinion - during the PS2/Gamecube/XBox era, IGN was actually pretty great.
