@CarlWorsham @PoliticalOdor Sources please, other than fox news
Which by it's own account is an entertainment provider on not really a news broadcaster
@PhantasyPhiend@jackiecarbajal@nycsouthpaw They "contained" as in the shooter locked himself in a room full of kids. The cops were beyond useless. They even let him run into the school and called for backup instead of trying to intercept him.
@_same_sunset_ @Alma65254179 @stancillauthor @melanielynskey This exactly
But some people cherry pick facts that only prove their points. They tend to forget that during that period, incidents of mass shootings actually went really low and once the law expired, it shot up 200%. But let's keep pretending legislation doesn't work.
@QuikENogg @apark2453@Trojangoddess@revrrlewis It's unfortunate that 20 kids had to die because the cops didn't want to do their job is what you are saying. You realize how insane that sounds right. That it's unfortunate. UNFORTUNATE.
what's unfortunate is walking on dog shit in the morning. This is horrible not unfortunate.
@MikeMcLikes @delphinium_4 @chrislhayes Point of the story. Start addressing the real issue and stop finding more expensive and insane ways of not preventing mass murder.
Honestly, people are so in love with guns they don't care kids are getting mowed down. Anything to avoid doing the responsible thing
@cincinsays@OccupyDemocrats@SenatorDurbin They would filibuster it and it will never get a vote. I doubt Manchin and Sinema would vote for it either. US democracy is dead, you are just seeing the death throes of a country.
@therecount@MeidasTouch@BetoORourke Letting children die due to inaction on sensible gun control is a political issue, because obviously one side doesn't care that other people's children are dying.
