Students @barrettschool used their “maps” to guide them in creation of “turntables. In the background as they worked was a video of a DJ working a turntable. A teacher was found sitting with the students questioning them about their creation & building their vocabulary. 🤍

In observance of Juneteenth, all Birmingham City Schools offices and school buildings will be closed on Monday, June 20, 2022.
Students in summer learning will have remote work and all employees will work remotely. There will be no meal service on that day.
