This morning, a friend asked me: "Who is #YuMenglong?"
Still, I think it's alright - at least some people want to know more about #YuMenglong ,
so I will tell the whole story for those who are new.

#YuMenglong, he was an artist who debuted 12 years ago. He could sing, act, play the cello and the piano. He had a graceful presence, a radiant smile, and the pure eyes of an angel - once you looked into them, you could never forget.

He had over twenty million followers on Weibo. He starred in many popular television dramas and was deeply loved by countless people.

He donated most of what he earned to help those struck by floods.
He spent three years in remote mountain villages bringing education to children.
He cooked in a tiny kitchen too narrow to stretch both arms,
slept on a folding bed, and kept his clothes in cardboard boxes.
The last time fans asked what he had eaten, he replied: "Three tomatoes."
I have never seen another celebrity who fell asleep sitting alone on a subway or airport bench as often as he did.

A day before the so-called accident, he planned to film for CCTV the next day.
However, on the previous night - November 9, 2025 - he was reported to have "fallen from a height while drunk."
There were five or six people at the scene, yet no one heard a fall.

Everyone at the gathering disappeared, and every camera was "broken."
The next morning, his death was hastily announced.
Police were called at 6am and by 11am, the criminal procedures were declared complete.
Within just five hours, the case was closed.

The film studio registered under his name had been shut down since July.
The public notice bore no official seal, and even the family statement did not match the release date.
The announcement was dated September 16, but someone leaked it as early as September 12.

Soon after, police issued a "cyber-clean-up" notice, banning the three characters "Yu Menglong" from all Chinese websites.
Even words with the same pronunciation were blocked.
Strangely, those who attended that gathering suddenly went silent.
Some said they had left the environment where it happened, some claimed they never knew him, and some had gone abroad.

The entire event felt like a pre-written script acted out - ending with his complete erasure from the world.

Even his family and his two beloved pets disappeared.
No relatives or friends spoke publicly.
Everything about him was quietly deleted.
He was not an ordinary person.
He was a star with more than twenty million fans,
yet he vanished without a trace - almost as if he had evaporated from this world.

Such terrifying and absurd things could never happen in Taiwan,
or in any truly democratic nation.

Today mark 54 days since his passing.
We still have not seen the truth.
He loved his country, but his country did not love him back.

Only a desperate regime would block all information, both inside and outside its borders, and that very act allows even darker truths to spread from within the Great Firewall.

Some people say: "Stop stirring it up. Let it go."
But how can we let it go -
especially after hearing so many horrific and cruel things?
When the truth is buried, when a life is defined as an accident -

All we can do is remember him and sign the petition for justice in his name.

On nous serine encore le « vivre-ensemble » pendant que nos anciens crèvent. On parle de « valeurs républicaines » pendant que les prédateurs rôdent en liberté.

Jacqueline n’est pas un accident. Elle est le symptôme d’un pays qui a perdu le contrôle de son territoire et de sa sécurité. Elle est la France qu’on assassine à petit feu, celle des racines, celle qu’on refuse de défendre.

Assez de larmes et de bougies. Il faut de la volonté, des frontières, une justice qui protège les siens et punit les coupables sans faiblesse.

Pour Jacqueline. Pour toutes les autres.
Pour nos enfants qui ne méritent pas ce chaos.
