Yesterday, I had the honour of commissioning the new office complex of the Coordinator, Office of the First Lady, in Government House, Makurdi.

The new facility will provide a good and conducive environment for the effective coordination, administration and implementation of programmes for women, children, families and vulnerable persons across the state.

I commend the Coordinator, Office of the First Lady, for this important achievement and for her continued commitment to promoting the welfare, empowerment and inclusion of women and other vulnerable members of our society.

If some chose to decline the invitation based on personal sentiments, that is entirely their decision. However, such moments reveal who is willing to set aside personal differences in the interest of the state and who is not. Benue must always come before individual grievances.

Yesterday, I joined Gov. Hyacinth Alia in receiving the rescued Benue Links passengers.

I commend our security agencies for their swift action and the safe rescue of all victims. We will continue to support affected students and intensify efforts to keep Benue safe.

I attended the North Central Zonal Convention of the All Progressives Congress in Lafia.

The convention provided a valuable platform to engage with stakeholders, while reaffirming our collective commitment to unity, stronger party structures & sustained electoral success.

Earlier today, I was at the hallowed Green Chamber of the National Assembly to officially welcome my brother, Hon. Ojema Ojotu, who decamped from PDP to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). It was indeed a remarkable moment for Benue and Nigeria at large.

Yesterday, I represented Gov. Alia at the launch of the Agric Mechanization Outgrower Pilot in Makurdi.

10 farm clusters (300 farmers) will now access tractors, inputs & markets. With partners, we’re building jobs, wealth & restoring Benue as Nigeria’s food basket.
