Days 2 & 3 of the Wilber camp brought a lot of opportunities for wrestling and team bonding! We wrestled 7 duals between the two days and spent a lot of hours at the lake swimming/fishing. Very proud of this team for putting in the summer hours and for getting better together.

Day one of the Wilber camp was a success for 20 Thunderbird wrestlers! Technique session ➡️ 3 tough duals ➡️ takedown tournament. Lots of good wrestling, but it was nice getting to the lake and setting up camp afterwards. Lots of BBQ and fishing ahead 🤼‍♂️🍖🎣

Treat falls in the heartbreak round. He saved his best season for last as he racked up 36 wins and got his name up on our record board. He was a two time state qualifier. We love you Treat 💜

Jesse loses a close match in the heartbreak round. He ends his career as a four time state qualifier, a state medalist and has his name in multiple places on our record board. Keep your head up Jesse, we love you 💛

Jesse and Treat both win and are into the heartbreak round! Wrestling starts tonight at 6pm at CHI. If they win they will secure a spot on the podium and a state medal! Time to finish the job✊🏅
