Car engines use gasoline made from crude oil which releases toxic pollutants when burned. But, because we aren’t driving as much, we are using less gas so there are less car emissions. At least there are some environmental benefits from self isolation! #apesenergy@franklinlorax
My family and I opt for paper bags over plastic bags when checking out at our local grocery store. Even when the city does not adequately recycle them, paper bags are biodegradable. Picking paper over plastic reduces waste and controls landfill pollution. #apesland@franklinlorax
Understanding GMO pros and cons in my fridge guides eco-friendly meals. While reducing pesticides and boosting yields, concerns like pest resistance, gene spread, and unclear long-term effects highlight the need for caution in agriculture. #apespop@franklinlorax
If everyone lived like me, there would need to be 4.8 Earth's worth of resources to be able to do it. I plan to lessen that number by reducing my food and energy waste as often as I can. #apespop@franklinlorax
My parents often have a variety of a collection of many plants around the house that are only found in certain biomes like rainforests and deserts

That is a great observation! I would also like to note as a little fun fact that your picture represents a K-Strategist because dogs reproduce less and care for each offspring more.

This is my dog, and he is K-Strategist, aka, a Specialist. He will be able to grow to an older age than a Generalist and will have fewer offspring, thus being able to give each of them more attention. #apeseco@franklinlorax
