@TomasColton This throwing the second ball onto the field is a very deliberate tactic, there are lads given the job of doing this. Time something was done to stop it but catch nets would solve a large part of the problem

@PlayerGaelic I’d go for right foot shot, the left might be excellent but as they get older it will become less of a strength, defenders will concentrate on the left too so they become predictable. Being two footed is some asset

@PlayerGaelic How many games have you been at where you hear a coach shouting instructions to a player and it is obvious the player has no idea what the coach is talking about. I include myself in that too, what’s clear in a coaches head isn’t necessarily the same in a players head

@PlayerGaelic Not sure about being concerned but in this day and age where there is so much information readily available for coaches it makes you wonder why clubs choose to ignore it and then wonder why they see little or no success

@PlayerGaelic A coaching development plan with clear targets and achievable objectives for each age group. Too many coaches go off and do their own thing and the only goal is to win, long terms player development isn’t considered

@PlayerGaelic New rules have maybe exposed a significant number of defenders who can’t defend. Not a slight on these players at all, the old rules allowed this to happen and there was always safety in numbers. The upper hand is now with inside forwards.

@PlayerGaelic The body position when the shot is taken, one thing I learned from you Philip and it has helped on various occasions with players, they are almost in the seated position when making the kick so there is reduced power in the kick. One definitely worth watching for 🤔

@PlayerGaelic Do they need to look at who they choose? Those that make Development squads are the supposedly best players, who are thriving at club and school level anyway. How about looking at the group of players on the fringes, who with a bit of direction and coaching could improve a lot
