Hi friends! somewhat new to X so here’s an intro :)
about me:

- interning @ tesla
- slave @ hack the north
been into running lately
in cali for the rest of the year so hmu if you're in the area :3
We spoke with 350 students across Canada about getting dressed.
The same problem kept showing up: they had inspiration and they had clothes, but translating one into the other took too much time.
That gap is why we built Oro.
Change the future of fashion with us <3

@Velascode_ 100! i think we’re also pretty selfish people haha. and it’s quite hard to build for others when we have such a clear vision for how WE would use it
One of the hardest parts of building a consumer product is admitting that people understand the problem differently than you do.
We launched Oro with one idea of what an AI stylist should be, then real users showed us what they actually needed.
The new Oro is coming 👀
fashion discovery usually has one answer to every problem: buy something else
but most outfit problems aren't shopping problems. they are memory, combination, and context problems
Oro starts with what you own because your closet should be useful before it gets bigger
Repeating an outfit is not a style failure. It is evidence that you found something that works.
Change the shoe. Add a layer. Switch the bag. Or wear it exactly the same.
