On January 29, the Supreme Court ordered that voters flagged for "logical discrepancies" during the SIR be heard and allowed to show documents. Goa did that.

649 voters came forward. In 97 cases, the officers on the ground found the earlier decision "has to be reversed" and the names put back on the roll.

ECINet didn't permit it. The software had no button to reverse a deletion. ONLY Delhi could add one.

चुनाव आयोग ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट में चौंकाने वाला खुलासा किया।

दरअसल पश्चिम बंगाल में SIR को लेकर 37 लाख से ज्यादा लोगों ने अपील किया है।

जिसके बाद चुनाव आयोग ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट में कहा कि ,

“पिछले पांच महीने में 1 लाख 26 हजार मामलों का निपटारा हो पाया है,,

और 37 लाख से ज़्यादा लोगों ने ट्रिब्यूनल में अपील किया है।

अगर इन आवेदन का निपटारा किया जाए तो इस हिसाब से सारी अपील को को निपटाने में 12 साल लग सकते हैं।

मतलब 6 साल तक अगर लगातार निपटारा किया जाये तो भी 18 लाख से अधिक लोग वोट देने से वंचित रह जाएँगे।
