Who else is building finance or ops tools for small businesses?
I want to swap notes, not pitch. Reply or DM, happy to share what I have learned so far.
Which alert would actually get you out of bed?
A) Cash goes below zero in 30 days
B) CPA doubled in 3 days
C) A tool you never use renews tomorrow
A is the obvious pick. I think B sneaks up on people more.
Since 31 August 2026, Google Ads policy bans MCP servers that just wrap Google Ads, and headless changes without review.
That shaped how I built Operlance: the agent works through its own tools, every Google Ads change needs approval, and it all lands in an audit log.
Founders who brought in an accountant early: was it worth it?
Founders who did everything alone for years: any regrets?
Trying to understand when the switch actually makes sense.
Sneak peek from my own Google Ads account (private beta):
The agent looks at live campaigns and spend, then proposes budget changes. I approve or reject each one. It does not change anything in Google Ads on its own.
Useful or scary?
Small thing that took longer than it should have: Stripe checkout needed a newer API version to work with Managed Payments.
Easy fix once found. Finding it was the hard part.
What is the smallest bug that cost you the most time this month?
How many currencies does your business touch?
1: lucky you
2: manageable
3 or more: there is probably a spreadsheet you are scared of
Reply with your number.
Honest test for you: open and tell me within 5 seconds what it does.
I rebuilt the page to show the product instead of explaining it. If it fails the 5 second test, I want to know.
AI in operations will not look like a robot running your company.
It will look like a short list: three suggestions, each with the numbers behind it, each waiting for a yes or a no.
Boring. Useful. That is the version I believe in.
Web designers, no-code builders, agency owners: say hi below.
I want to meet more people who build websites for a living and hear which tools you wish existed.
Unpopular opinion: monthly bookkeeping is too slow for anyone running paid ads.
By the time you see the month, the money is already spent.
Too harsh, or fair?
Changed the onboarding flow.
Before: pick templates for your AI agents, then connect sources one at a time.
After: connect several sources in a row and get one default agent automatically.
Fewer choices at the start. Always better, or sometimes worse?
A calm start for founders: coffee, then one number.
Not ten dashboards. Not three bank apps. One number that says what you can safely spend.
What is the first number you look at each day?
Building an AI agent that does real work, not just chat?
Show me. Reply with what it does and who it is for. Agents doing actual operations work are the most interesting thing on here right now.
Running more than one product: do you keep the money separate or pool it?
Separate feels cleaner. Pooled feels faster. Both can go wrong.
Which camp are you in, and why?
