@gamblinglucky "Hm... let's go with a mocktail. That sound be easy enough, no?"
Tilting head to side, silent challenge in gaze.
"If you need a recipe, check the lower cabinet under the bar counter. There's a recipe book."
@gamblinglucky "Ah. That means that boss forgot to do it."
Rolling their shoulder a little, leaning against the bar. They raise a brow at him.
"Well? Will you mix me a drink?"
"Mh, unlikely. The Flagship is one of the most popular joints in Nod-Krai."
Tilting head to the side, leaning against counter with hand splayed under them.
"Oh? You need help?" Raising brow.
“Don’t feel forced, my friend. I am simply offering a job opportunity if this one happens to fall flat.”
He said with a smile, leaning back against the bar stool.
“You seem nice enough. Why not help a new friend out?”
"I'm one of the best bartenders in Nod-Krai." Gaze softening a little.
"I wouldn't get a drink wrong, promise."
Stepping out from behind the bar, putting on some music before grabbing a few snacks and a blanket from a cabinet.
Blinking at them, and then looking at the drink. Dain carefully picks it up, steadying shaking hands so as not to cause a mess.
Taking a sip, his eyes widen.
“Oh! This is... spectacular, actually... Not many are able to simply guess what I'd drink so easily...”
"I would say I'm somewhat strong. One has to be, as a bartender.."
Gaze turns down towards the card, picking it up between slender digits.
They scan it once or twice, giving a small nod and pocketing it.
"Unfortunately, there's no chance I join any organisation. I'm a... ++
“Are you strong, then?”
He asked with a hum, taking out a card from his pocket and sliding it across. It was for the IPC.
“Perhaps if you start looking for other work, or a second job, you can come apply here.”
He sent a wink.
“I’ll put in a special word for you.”
"I've been in the line for... what, 30 years? 40?"
And yet they dont look a year over 25..
"Hm... one story is about a customer who tried to harrass me. They didn't know that I have special permission to forcefully throw them out, so they were terrified when I actually ++
He took the drink and immediately downed it in one gulp.
“Mm. You make a good drink, friend.”
He said with a smile.
“How long have you been working here? Do you have any fun stories?”
"Mm, I've been doing it for a while, so yes. Bartending is my favorite thing to do."
They shake up another drink, sliding it over to him.
"Plus, I sometimes help with cleaning the rooms we have available. It's quite the fun job.:
“Aventurine.”
He held out his hand for a shake, his eyes studying Quinn behind the colored shades.
“It’s nice to meet you. I think we’ll get along great~”
"A couple rounds of the most expensive drink we have in the Flagship..."
Well, this stranger was certainly interesting.
They pour out several drinks, taking the card for later.
"I'll be your bartender today. Call me Quinn."
“Give me the most expensive drink you have. For everyone!”
He pulled out his card and the bar erupted into cheers. He was clearly flaunting his wealth.
"We at the Flagship have everything, sir." They tap their fingers against the counter.
"Wines, spirits... we even have a few bottles of the fruity stuff."
