In December 2024; @tmmrjrbnks, Jonathan Vann, and myself, contributed evidence towards an Environmental Audit Committee inquiry on "Flood resilience in England" on behalf of Loughborough University.
Please see the link in the comments, for Loughborough's response.
The book offers ideas and plans for collaborative spatial literacy teaching and learning initiatives focusing on geographic information systems (GIS)-based and GIS-related instruction through the lens of public health topics.

Fantastic presentation by @eleanorearl_ on "The role of nature-based solutions for inland flood management in the Pacific Islands".
She gave this to academics from both the @LboroABCE and @lborogeog departments, and covered a range of NFM and NbS related topics.
Today I received the award for Top Cited Article 2022 - 2023 for the systematic review article!
I am very grateful and humble, and many thanks to all who have read it.

Just finished reading "The Dark Forest", the 2nd book in the "#threebodyproblem" trilogy by Liu Cixin.
The Netflix series does not do it justice, but after finishing book two I cannot look at the Universe the same!

3) Future research should aim to further investigate low-cost solutions for data gathering on remote NbS sites, such as iPad based LiDAR, as well as the temporal change to remote sites over longer time periods.

2) Application of these high-resolution datasets for both pre and post NbS site implementation. Considerations for both long-term site monitoring, and the identification of opportunity locations for nature-based solution features are detailed.
Please check out our recent publication in the "Journal of Rural Mental Health", which explores the characteristics of mental health emergencies occurring in rural England during #covid19UK
This publication has also received a spotlight feature by the APA, link in comments.
