.@SimonBusuttil is a LIAR. Ahead of the sitting Minister @KonradMizzi requested an adjournment and another date to be set in view of the fact that he would be abroad for official travel. The court accepted the request on the 26th November and put the case off.
Why @AnaGomesMEP retweets posts from anonymous twitter trolls but questions our judiciary system by calling it 'limited' is beyond me. Meanwhile, it's increasing easy to describe the unlimited: some ppl's desire to shame Malta, to suit some twisted narrative.
I expect @AnaGomesMEP and @sven_giegold to wrap up their their focused campaign on my country by asking @DavidCasaMEP to resign with immediate effect. I won't have people who falsify documents represent me. #false#FIAU
As a Maltese citizen I’m shocked with the outcome of the Egrant inquiry. What is confirmed as a lie has hurt the country and imperiled jobs in the financial serv sector. Let it be known that #Malta PM @josephmuscat_JM was completely cleared by an independent magisterial inquiry.
Great news! In #APRIL 2018, #increases were registered in total inbound #visitors (+15.7%), total #nights spent (+16.9%) and total tourism #expenditure (+3.9%) - #NSO.
We are committed towards sustaining and continuously improving these results.
I must have learnt a million things but I'm also a million times proud. That's a wrap to the Malta International Fireworks Festival, well done @LionelGerada and events team @MTAMalta
The #NationalistParty back in 2013 had claimed that "Labour won't work". Time and time again they were proven wrong. I'm convinced that what they really meant was that they "will not LET Labour work." Again, they will fail. We will keep improving people's lives. #Maltatghada
12 beaches in Malta&Gozo have been again awarded the International Blue Flag eco label for Sustainable Development. Yet another reason to visit Malta! @MTAMalta#Malta
The Shift claims that 'whoever dares criticise or oppose the leader is harassed and intimidated'. Funny how I seem to recall a myriad of intimidation tactics against those who subscribe to the principles endorsed by the party in Government. Be fair.
The Shift claim that 'criticism is conventionally repelled as an attack on Malta'. Dead cats are no form of criticism. Neither is yelling names & hurling insults at any PM. Dragging Malta out of an economic freefall & talking about it is not 'inflating successes'.
Official data for 2017 confirms that in just 4 years we reversed the entire increase in Public Debt burden made by the previous 3 administrations. Public Debt now stands at 50.8% of GDP, well within Maastricht criteria -JM
