Flanagan dodges questions on fraud, age restrictions for so-called ‘gender-affirming care’

Peggy Flanagan’s record as Minnesota’s lieutenant governor is coming under renewed scrutiny following her victory in Tuesday’s DFL Senate primary, with questions about the state’s fraud scandals and her position on so-called “gender-affirming care” following her into the November general election.

When asked if she deserved "any responsibility" for Minnesota’s fraud crisis, Flanagan blamed the governor, saying, "The governor says the buck stops with him."

The arrogance and hypocrisy of so many leaders and scientists during the COVID era has forever scarred my trust in government, media, and public health institutions. Just being honest.

Truly one of the greatest jokes of all time. Just perfect. Norm making Conan uncomfortable, pushing it WAAY dark at moments, and then the most dad-joke punchline imaginable.

Phil Lord and Chris Miller say that it took about a year and a half of research & design to create Rocky practically for ‘PROJECT HAIL MARY’.

“The main thing was ‘how do I make something that I can connect with?’ He has no face… but you want to be able to relate to him.”

[Bart Whitman @bartwhitman]

This was an incredible story, developed by an amazing production, with a wonderfully positive tone. We need more movies like this.

‘PROJECT HAIL MARY’ has earned $33.1M in the film's domestic opening day.

Biggest domestic opening day ever for any non-franchise film.

Defensive coordinator Brian Flores has signed a contract extension with the Vikings. If he does not receive a head coaching job this cycle, he will be back as the team’s defensive coordinator.

Harrison Smith shares a message of gratitude. He's an all-timer, and today's performance should be front-and-center on his highlight reel when he enters the Pro Football Hall of Fame. #Vikings

If nothing else, it’s been worth watching the Vikings play this year in order to see one of the GOATS - Harrison Smith - take a curtain call on a special career. #Skol

Good grief. This normalization of profanity by our leaders is a blight on our nation.

#Vikings WR Justin Jefferson went undercover as a photographer for GM Kwesi Adofo-Mensah’s annual headshot photo… and it’s HILARIOUS.

Best video you'll watch today by far 😂😂

“Come, let us rebuild.”

Pro tip for college students: don’t let your primary spiritual formation be through a campus ministry. Get involved in a local church that is faithfully teaching the Bible. Develop relationships with older men and women who can disciple you. Campus ministry is not the Church!

Today marks the traditional anniversary of the Council of Nicaea—20 May 325. That makes this the 1700th birthday of the Nicene Creed: the one majestic summary of the Christian faith embraced by every branch of Christianity. To mark the occasion, here’s a 4-minute excerpt from The First Hymn film, exploring the theme of the Trinity—already glorified in this ancient song in the century before Nicaea.
