Allegedly assaulting NT Administrator David Connolly

Before he was appointed

Federal Member for Solomon Luke Gosling has been charged with two counts of assaulting NT Administrator David Connolly.

Police allege two incidents occurred at Darwin’s Thailand Grand Festival on 18 July 2026. Gosling strongly denies the allegations and says he will contest the charges.

His bail conditions require him to:

Remain at least 15 metres from Connolly at public events.
Have no contact with him.
Stay 50 metres from Government House.
Provide 48 hours’ notice when attending the same event.

The case is scheduled to return to Darwin Local Court on 30 September 2026. No finding of guilt has been made.
