A woman is assaulted for teaching girls online. Her only “crime” was educating girls.

This is the reality under Taliban rule: women and girls are punished for seeking and sharing knowledge.

While shouting “Allahu Akbar,” they humiliate and attack a woman yet this is NOT Islam.

Islam forbids harming women, children, and non-combatants, even in war. Islam commands dignity, justice, and mercy. Islam strongly encourages seeking knowledge. The very first word revealed in the Qur’an was “Iqra” (Read).

Those who attack women and deny girls education do not represent Islam—they betray its teachings.

Education is not a crime. Violence against women is.
