Saw some young people protesting at the Turkish Embassy today, demanding Lumbuye’s return, and honestly, I felt sad and sorry for those “kids.”🤦🏾‍♂️

What concerns me is seeing young people being put in a position without fully understanding its consequences. Some of those I saw at the protest cannot afford good medical care, decent meals, or quality education for their families, yet they are put in a position to call for the return of someone we know advocates for better opportunities and governance. Sick!

Our youth need serious civic education and training in good governance, without political bias, so they can make informed decisions instead of defending things they may not fully understand.

I saw Endiga (sheep) being used, forgetting that tomorrow, when their master runs out of food, he will eat them too, either directly or through the messed-up system they are protecting.

Shame!
