🇮🇳 India to Send First 20-Coach LHB Rake to 🇧🇩 Bangladesh | Here’s the key update 👇

• Indian Railways will roll out its first 20-coach LHB rake for Bangladesh Railway from Rail Coach Factory (RCF), Kapurthala, on August 12.

• The 20-coach rake includes:
- 3 AC sleeper coaches
- 3 AC chair cars
- 12 non-AC chair cars
- 2 power cars

The coaches feature several customised design modifications developed specifically for Bangladesh Railway.

• The rollout is part of a 200-coach export order placed with RCF through RITES in 2024, covering seven different variants. RCF had earlier supplied 120 LHB coaches to Bangladesh Railway.

• The project highlights India’s growing railway manufacturing capabilities and strengthens rail ties with Bangladesh.
