She grew up around corner stores, beauty supply runs, loud blocks, survival mode, big dreams, and people who counted her out. Now she is polished, paid, beautiful, and still has that edge. Not overly glam. Not soft life delusion. More like grit turned glossy.🩷
It feels weird to brag sometimes, but lowkey… I don’t think I brag enough.
I’m really a gift.
My spirit. My energy.
My ability to walk through the darkest moments and still come out glowing.
I’m really HER.
And I genuinely don’t care who fails to see it.
my father always told me: "if you want to go for a run, go for a run, don't look for company. sooner or later, on your fifth run or your twentieth, likeminded people will find you themselves." and only recently have I realized that this principle works everywhere.
My favorite part of resurrection is when they went back and didn’t find Jesus where they left him!! Don’t let NOBODY find you where they left you. Elevate! He got up! You can too! Nothing is too hard for my God!
Telling every pregnant girl I know who's planning on having a natural unmediated birth to eat pineapples, dates, drink red raspberry leaf tea, and walk a lot to prepare/ soften your cervix, I did this and I was only in labor for 30 minutes, got my baby out in ONE push and didn't rip at all,
I was up walking a hour after giving birth.
And all of a sudden…
Your parents are just people who created you. Your friendship circle becomes a triangle. You fall out of love with potential and you fall in love with yourself.
Telling people they need friends, family, and romance is beautiful in theory. I know it comes from a good place… but having close aligned relationships are luxuries and a privilege to have.
I think we’re going overboard with this illusion of community. People have been exiled, outcasted, solo traveled, and lived nomadic lifestyles since the beginning of time. It’s important to make room for differences without judgement.
Angels of favor are already positioned at your next destination. You don’t need to know where you’re going or how you’ll get there to know that no matter where you arrive, The Lord already has you covered.
