Mechanical engineer Sanjay Sah survived around 10 days trapped inside Nepal’s Trishuli 3A hydropower tunnel after the August 26 floods.

In the darkness, he kept chanting the ‘Hare Krishna’ maha-mantra, saying it gave him courage and hope.

With 40–45 people at the project when floodwater and debris rushed in, Sah—responsible for the control room—chose to help others reach safety before trying to escape himself.

A remarkable story of faith, courage and survival. 🙏
