Maple City will be having a 16U try-out for the summer of 2023 on July 19th and 20th. 5-7 pm at Schreiber Field. Graduating classes of 2025, 2026 and 2027 are invited to try-out.

18U goes 2-2-1 on the weekend and takes home the sliver championship!

16U goes 4-2 and gets second place in the tournament!

Weekend results so far:
16U is 1-1 with a 6-5 win and a 2-1 loss.
18U is 0-2-1. Their scores are 7-4, 12-4 and 1-1 tie.

16U finished 2-1
18U were 0-2 and were washed out by weather the rest of the weekend. Back at it Thursday in Fort Wayne.

16U wins the first game of pool play 11-1. They have a double header tomorrow. 18U drops their opener this weekend 4-3. They play another game today. Stay tuned.

We will be hosting a 16U workout sometime in September. We are waiting for clearance to have the proper and safe workouts. Please be patience and wait for more updates.

No one person is making the decisions for this program it will take many of us to get Maple City running smoothly and it won't happen overnight. And yes, in the end it will help the LaPorte Slicer Baseball program. No secrets here. Give Maple City Baseball a chance to grow!!!

Give us a chance to get this program going before splitting off....this will be much more beneficial overall to develop a baseball program that can benefit many. We will listen to our current and future coaches to help make adjustments to improve the Maple City Baseball program.

Understand that there will be differing opinions....but if we can get everyone on the same page we can move this program forward in the right direction. 8u-12u Maple City players play part travel, part league. 13u-18u play exclusively travel.

Maple City Baseball update: This was our inaugural year with Maple City Summer Baseball 8u-18u. While there are still a few things to workout, overall it went very well. This is what we are trying to do: develop a baseball program for youth baseball players in LaPorte......

Maple city travel baseball 18U and 16U practice for this evening is cancelled due to weather and field conditions. We will try again tomorrow at 4 pm for the 16U and 6 pm for 18U.
