FINAL
Ladue 4 (11-9)
Parkway West 2 (19-16)
@KeeganDurbin goes the distance for his first ever complete game in a heroic performance leading the 6th-seeded Rams to another upset win in two days this time over the 2-seeded Longhorns. Ladue led the whole way and played impeccable defense with timely hitting. @WillKunitz was 2-for-4 with a home run and two runs scored. The Rams will play 1-seeded Summit in the Class 5 District 3 championship on Saturday at Chaminade.
Congratulations Ladue basketball coach Chad Anderson! Ladue’s new record leader in basketball coaching wins! A well deserved accomplishment for a great coach.
FINAL
Westminster 41 (20-10)
Ladue 42 (25-5)
The Rams are heading back to the final four for the 2nd time in 5 seasons after they had to survive yet another defensive stand in the finals seconds. Ladue made enough free throws down the stretch to ultimately hold off Westminster.
Although we didn’t get what we wanted, this group showed some resiliency and toughness today by earning the 3rd place trophy. I love this team and we will continue to improve and of course, compete to the final whistle! #ttw#forsmith
The baseball world lost a good one this week. Our thoughts and support go out to CBC and the family of Coach Jeremiah Bergheger. A good person and good coach. R.I.P. Coach Bergheger.
