@borrasque_ are you actually retarded? obviously founders are disproportionately wealthy. If you're poor you don't have time to larp being an engineer making a glorified chatgpt wrapper that makes "agents pay "minimalist style.
@FakePsyho "Much of my identity is tied to solving hard intellectual challenges, so I can relate"
how embarrassing to say this out loud publicly. I assume you are asian aren't you.
@gblrfgr it'll probably be the opposite, a lot of ai companies for some reason are investing time into using their GPUs for breaking RSA benchmarks
afaik no progress yet on dlog or module-lwe (Apart from a lot of crank papers about dihedral coset problem)
@SJ_Swapnil_Jain do you even know the words you are saying? you are literally talking like an AI with no understanding of the algorithmic records you claim to have broken.
@nihilunbounded it's unfortunate that everyone has great points on why AI mathslop is an issue but noone has even a remote idea about a plausible solution about the future of math.
Meanwhile undergrad enrollment and interest in pure math drops massively. It's just a sad state of affairs.
@rezecoded also good job deleting your schizo replies to my tweet.
With regards to what I've done that is meaningful:
not pretended my name is reze, "a girl with bpd and exes in the top prestigious tech companies!"
I believe the bpd part tho dw. that part is self evident.
@__alpoge__@dzackgarza “Here is X result! Claude found it amazing right!” is just not even remotely helpful
Why don’t you spend time making a good writeup actually pointing to interesting insights instead of showboating?
I’m sure Anthropic can pay someone to bother actually explaining these results.
Why do people at frontier AI companies pretend to not understand what the problem is?
The field is increasingly becoming “asking questions” to a LLM till you can prod the right answer out of it.
Recent AI results have had no human insight that was instrumental to them.
@gblrfgr@garvvee NSA does some really cool work tho. Apparent rumor that they have a L{1/4} factoring algorithm (i dont buy it but it would be cool to work there and know it)
@garvvee@gblrfgr Only cryptography jobs I have scouted out are either
a) NSA/ Govt related stuff
b) Cryptography labs for post docs
c) ZK/Ethereum space
Option c) is the most promising, however, finding a company that isn’t some blockchain scam is hard.
@mehtaab_sawhney are you purposely misunderstanding the issue? Why doesn't your paper mention the correction or the error?
This lack of transparency is crazy. It just seems like you're hiding the error in your writeup.
