TEXAS RALLY: A warmup speaker at a rally for Texas Senate nominee James Talarico called for abolishing ICE and legalizing marijuana — the exact positions Talarico has publicly denied holding.

Malik Williams, a Democratic state legislature candidate, fired up the Lubbock crowd with calls to "abolish ICE," "tax the rich" and legalize cannabis before introducing Talarico as "the next United States Senator from the state of Texas." The crowd responded with raucous applause.

The problem for Talarico: he told CNN he has never supported abolishing ICE. But during a January primary debate, he called to "tear down" the agency, accusing it of shooting a mother in the face, kidnapping a child, and executing a man in broad daylight.

During @PunchbowlTm this morning I texted 50 of my Republican friends who haven’t voted yet.

I am calling 5 of them right now to discuss their voting plans and to make sure they are having the ENTIRE family vote!

All of these people I am contacting are hard R’s who will vote for @KenPaxtonTX and straight R.

It’s taken me about 1 hour to make 50 contacts. Each text message was personalized.
