@basedbaal There’s a good book on this topic. Moses The Egyptian by Jan Assmann. Proposes Judaism is a counter religion using the historical memory of Akhenatens Aten religion and Egyptian clashes with the Hyksos. If true, it would render the OT mostly false and a twist on Canaanite mythos
