I'm glad you didn't mention $CHAD as a community who have given up bc we never have and never will. Jesse did already give thoughts on this fwiw, it's a function of there not being enough people and a concentrated focus elsewhere in order to bring more people onchain.
Base, coinbase, basemaxxing, Jesse and more all started to promote memes again after they saw my feedback around a fortnight ago. Two weeks isn't a long time for sentiment to propagate outwards. If they continue to promote memes, there's no reason degens should continue to believe they don't support them. I saw an immediate 180 and acknowledgement that things could be done better.
Words were never needed. It was action that people wanted, and they immediately acted. Give it a little more time.
Of course, i'd also love to see more direct support given to the memes people genuinely like without needing them explained, like Chad and Okayeg. But who's to say that isn't coming soon?
Jesse demonstrated to everyone publicly just how close Chad is to a supply shock with the volume from a single content coin. I'd argue it's a skill issue of all of CT, base natives included, to not understand what happened and see the opportunity there. People are so salty that the reaction to what could make them a lot of money was actually incredibly negative. That's not a failing of Jesse, it's failing of the people both on and off base. If people want to chase parabolic moves, the setup to create one exists in Chad literally right now.
And base as a whole has actually offered more opportunities to make outsized liquid returns than any other chain for months. So it's not like there has been no reason to bridge. People have simply convinced themselves of something false and it's leading them to make suboptimal decisions. Perhaps it's due to listening to influencers who actually have no idea what they're talking about, who knows.
Base memes - all memes frankly - have been in goblin town since the Trump coin event, but nothing is stopping people from bridging and taking advantage of the opportunities except themselves. They exist, people are just busy catching falling knives and listening to propaganda.
It's not even easier said than done, bridging takes seconds. Just do it, anons. You're fading money and passionate communities with strong holder bases to chase rug cannon shitters that can no longer even holder over 1M MC. It's quite ridiculous to watch from my perspective.
$CHAD & $DOOMER on @base during the recent worst crypto crash in history
TOTALLY UNAFFECTED
Put your money in real communities rather than Cabal max leveraged bullshit
The cabal grows.
@basedchad just joined Public Cabal with their creator coin.
Every project added compounds the network. More culture, more volume, more ETH shared between builders and stakers.
We’re not just forming a group.
We’re building a mini economy. In public. On @base.

Disagree, $CHAD has been the most consistent community on base since the day it was launched.
We've got partnerships with MMA Champs with a video game coming to console, mobile and PC (as well as a few other games in the pipeline), have spearheaded countless other initiatives and partnerships, are completely decentralized in governance with buybacks in place from fees, the community dominates not just twitter but all social media including stocktwits, has multiple viral tiktok and instagram accounts, is the meme most posted by Elon. Etc etc.
Then go look at how parabolic the chart moves with minimal buying pressure. @basedchad is the most faded opportunity on the market with the most diamond handed whales since SPX.
Based Chad Snapshot (@SnapshotLabs) voting site is live, please give us a follow and make sure to vote! One issue up for now, I'm sure @jessepollak would appreciate it if you voted Yes on this one. 👀

Content coins are discrete and nonfungible.
There's a bridge crossing problem for liquidity to get between content coins which introduces unnecessary friction. Giving each of these coins an artificial supply to emulate fungibility doesn't fix this problem.
Creator coins try to create bridges between each piece of content by being nexus point between them, but this introduces unnecessary arbitrage hell between illiquid assets. It results in needless value extraction by bots and the creator stopping collapses everything to zero. There are sharp cusps in the space of collective content.
Memecoins are continuous and fungible.
The value of a piece of content a community creates lives inherently within the memecoin. You aren't investing in a singular piece of content but rather a collective body of work created by an aligned group of like minded people, as well as the social energy they embody.
The creators are secondary to the shared goals of the collective and the transition between the value offered by two pieces of content is smooth, there are no cusps and there is far more decentralization in the model bc it's community first not creator first. A single creator doesn't control the future of the space of collective content, it's more resilient to change and therefore more fit to exist as a sustainable model for monetizing creativity.
Both models have a place, but to favor the former over the latter seems incorrect. The former is more like donations to a nonprofit, the latter is more like company equity. Most people would rather invest in equities than give their money away.
