@BretWeinstein The “obligation to refuse immoral orders” sounds sensible and high minded but you actually can’t live in a society where everyone chooses their own moral lines and then gums up the system if their own conscience is violated.
I don’t think most “mentally ill” homeless people/random attackers are really that out of touch with reality, because they only seem to pick physically weak targets. They never go after bodybuilders or soldiers or cops. Usually women and girls. That’s enough mens rea for me.
