🔴 Today is Day 992 since October 7, 2023. For 2 years, 8 months, and 19 days, Israel has blocked the International Committee of the Red Cross from visiting Palestinian detainees held in Israeli torture prisons.
Palestinian journalist Mujahid Bani Mufleh was detained by Israel without charge under its administrative detention policy in June 2025. He says he endured torture, starvation and prolonged medical neglect while imprisoned.
Two days after his release in January 2026, Bani Mufleh suffered a severe brain hemorrhage linked to an illness he contracted in Israeli prison, rights groups say. He was hospitalized in critical condition and underwent multiple surgeries that left part of his skull removed and, according to the Palestinian Prisoner Society, still faces a long and complex recovery.
The group says his case reflects the systematic torture, abuse, and denial of medical care faced by Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons. The group calls it the “slow execution” of all prisoners.

Hope Song, Benjamin "Champagne" Song's mom, reads the statement Champagne tried to make protesting his conviction during sentencing in the Prairieland case. Judge Pittman arrogantly interrupted Champagne repeatedly, saying he didn't want to hear a political statement or a history lesson. Free Champagne! Free all the defendants! Drop the charges!

I reached out to DoorDash to ask if this back and forth with T-Pain was a coordinated effort — essentially an undisclosed ad. It sounds like… yes? DoorDash head of social Zaria Parvez told @verge it was a “partnership”:
we must systematically build a political consensus around the prairieland case and the absurdity of the sentences handed down today. we need to generate support committees to prepare for appeals and, worst case, to build momentum for pardons of all anti-ICE and NSPM7 cases..
