used to pray for days like these.
occupied with client projects, building things i like.
never thought i'd turn freelance into a full-time studio at @baseframe_
love the momentum, will keep this going.
trust the process. trust the god's plan.
We've designed 200-250+ screens for savari(.)io with shadcn at @baseframe_
But here's the thing,
we customised the components to match the client's existing design system, and made it even better.
The old UI was cluttered, unpolished, and had a confusing user experience.
When we were working on the two modules of the platform, our goal was to keep things super simple and easy to understand - since the target users were not from a technical background.
So we tailored the UI, user experience, and the components accordingly.
We eliminated things that were unnecessary and kept the design language super simple.
This can come off like shadcn without context.
But the designs were not tailored to please designers.
It was to make things easy and fast for coach managers.
And guess what? We nailed it.
The clients have received multiple demo calls since the launch of Savari V2.0 - and that's a small W in itself.
We're now expanding, making more amazing stuff for our client, and soon the product will be launched and presented to a large audience at an upcoming expo later this April.
Super bullish.
While working on SI, the task was - how do we make something that stands out and doesn't look like any other app, using shadcn.
we explored multiple options, few of them looked like a legit IDE software and we loved it.
but it was just not the "right" feeling.
it just felt off for the theme we were looking for.
after multiple iterations,
we came across a version that just clicked with everyone - me and the client, both liked this version very much.
but it was not a random guess.
we did a proper research into the market and looked up to multiple softwares in the field (not many but they helped) - and this theme, the color palette, the typography just felt the right balance.
it felt different from the typical softwares in the niche.
after spending months on this project designing over 200+ screens, the dev team adapted it pixel perfect.
so happy with how it turned out.
can't wait to share more on this once the platform goes live for the public
