If Rick Pitino lands Boogie Fland — NY native & former McDonald’s All-American — St. John’s might have the best starting 5 in the country. Fland is a do-it-all PG with elite handle, vision, and scoring ability. Pair him with Ian Jackson? Scary hours at MSG👀#SJUBB#TransferPortal
NEWS: Arkansas freshman Boogie Fland, a former five-star recruit, is entering the transfer portal, sources told ESPN. Fland was one of the best freshman in the country over the first half of the season, averaging 15.1 points and 5.7 assists before suffering a hand injury.
Joaquim Boumtje-Boumtje has been the catalyst to a dominant USAB squad in the U17 World Cup. The 7-foot, 17-yo possesses a tantalizing mix of size, fluidity, shooting versatility, feel, and perimeter skill. Early No.1 pick favorite for the 2028 NBA Draft.
People will hate Darryn Peterson one day because he really does have a preternatural ability to time his shots with contact from the defender that will lead to very, very high free throw rates at this level
Honest question
Why isn’t this dude getting talked about more?
Great positional size and skill
Improved a ton between Freshman and Sophomore seasons and still has more upside
STOP SLEEPING
Tounde Yessoufou is a literal monster.

Baylor's Tounde Yessoufou -- a potential first-round pick -- has withdrawn from the 2026 NBA draft and committed to St. John's Red Storm men's basketball program to play for Rick Pitino, his agency THE TEAM tells ESPN.
The best part of NIL has been the retention of talent in the sport. There's plenty to not like about the lax or lack thereof rules, but great players staying at school making a mark and leaving a legacy is good for the game.
NEWS: Providence transfer guard Stefan Vaaks has committed to Illinois, source told @On3.
The 6-7 freshman averaged 15.8 points per game this season. Earned Big East All-Freshman Team honors.

Word around the streets is Shelstad and Bidunga got paid more than the total NIL budget for about 70% of teams in D1 last year. Allegedly $9 million for the two.
We keep saying this is unsustainable, and yet there is no end in sight.
Zuby Ejiofor’s name should be mentioned as one of the most impactful players of this draft cycle.
Only 1 of 3 players in the nation (Boozer & Lendeborg) to be T15 in both O-BPM + D-BPM — strong mix of tools, energy, scoring versatility + defense to be impactful at the NBA level.
Coach Pitino has a recipe that works. His teams often struggle early n seasons & it’s not bcuz they aren’t as good as the opposing teams, it’s bcuz they are practicing harder. Other teams are well rested. But when March comes, no team is in the type of shape a Coach P team is in
No freshman EVER has more 3PM over a five-game stretch than Louisville’s Mikel Brown Jr., with 27 3PM (!) in his last 5.
This level of shotmaking prowess (16.5 3PA/100 + 54% 3P) is truly unprecedented.
Stuff like this is why I've never moved off Mikel Brown as one of my favorite PGs in this class. Engages both PNR DEFs, stares down the roller until the weak side DEF commits, and them delivers a skip pass on the money to Conwell. This type of playmaking/processing has been on display from him all season.
Darryn Peterson would of been better off just staying in the locker room to start the 2nd half… The “fake injuries” antics are starting to get ridiculous
Just some truly absurd shotmaking from Keaton Wagler tonight. What impresses me most about him, though, is his ability to carve his way to the rim despite his lack of strength. Just seems to always find his way there in halfcourt settings. But then is also an elite shooter lol.
