This is the collapse of merit, accountability and public trust in the healthcare system. Lakhs of deserving students sacrifice years of their lives for these exams, only to watch the system reward mediocrity while punishing hard work. When a patient enters an operation theatre, they don’t ask for category, politics or vote banks. They pray for competence. Healthcare cannot survive on compromises.
The public deserves qualified, capable doctors.

We waited. We trusted the promises. We believed the subcommittee would finally bring justice to students. But today it feels like all of it was just a way to buy time and silence the outrage.

The cold and exhaustion of sitting though the long night brought clarity. Silence sharpened resolve.
This cause of Rationalisation stands firmly well within the ambit of Constitution and the law,we will keep pursuing it adhering to all the norms and rules,ofcourse.

To the young friends from various areas in Kulgam who thronged to my home today just to check on me- i have no words to thank you .

The Police has officially informed Hon’ble MP @RuhullahMehdi that he has been placed under house arrest and is barred from stepping outside.

We have also recieved reports late last night that students have been arrested and their families intimidated by the police. All this is because of them asking for a fair chance at success through a rational reservation policy.

Is this a pre-emptive crackdown to silence a peaceful, pro-student demonstration? If yes, it exposes a disturbing fear of dissent. The authorities owe the public an explanation on what this deployment is for. Our plans for tomorrow stand.
