I mean, they openly admit some of it, but what I'm wondering are the actual reasons behind it. Owning the chuds? Not satisfying the '"male gaze"? Jealousy? And also, how does this actually manifest in the studio? Does some dude come up with a good female design only for a 200 lb Karen to slap him on the wrist saying "we don't do that here"?

The Hyperion Cantina from StarCraft 2 has to be one of the most atmospheric hubs in gaming. It's really bittersweet to remember how much soul Blizzard games used to have.
@Dexerto Until Dawn was lightning in a bottle, but even then the characters were extremely annoying. And after the other games they released I seriously doubt they have it in them to make a good game.
@Pirat_Nation Love this whole new campaign of "Microsoft is doing things differently now". Reminds me of when they were trying to market Edge some years back the same way and a bunch youtubers were making hype videos for it. Hopefully this ends the same way.
