@Office It comes back each day even if you do it. Canceled after being a paying subscriber for years. I'll just use an old copy of excel, office365 is too much of a liability now with how microsoft runs things.

Canceled my @Office 365. They now added this as a permanent distraction that cannot be disabled. It expands every window's title bar to double the size. I have a subscription, but this year alone, they forced on oneDrive and moved all my files around, and now this.

@Office Replying for solution for archiving, because some of the posted ones don't work.

In Excel, go to File → Account.

Click the three dots next to your profile picture (top right) → Sign out.
Close Excel completely, reopen it, sign back in with the account.

@wojtsterna @Microsoft Is there any solution to this? I've done everything I can to remove it, signing out, signing back in, it just sticks there in massive text. I will legit move to google drive over this despite preferring office. It's just too invasive.

@lassie99289125 @suzuk1_san_ That should be fine and English speakers will understand. Above posts it will show the text “translated from Japanese - see original” if the translation is bad I try AI. I worked with Japan so it’s ok to tell English speakers you didnt understand, it won’t offend them!

@lassie99289125 Japanese to English auto translate has difficulty with tone, sarcasm, and humor. Most of your posts are very easy to read but occasionally the machine will mess up. One post from a different user was “I want to see the seal” and it translated to “I want to marry the seal”.
