After the war and global oil crisis, America gave India “permission” to buy Russian oil again for 30 days.

India then went back to Russia to buy oil.

I understand the profile of Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, Nigeria’s UN Ambassador is really shaking the system. Everyone is curious to know the Nigeria’s representative with postgraduate degrees from three globally renowned Ivy League universities - Harvard, Oxford, and Cambridge. These include two PhDs. The Ivy League old boys' connections, which is a huge social capital in US and Europe, are already coalescing behind him.

His profile is attracting a lot of interest on Nigeria as a country. Everyone wants to meet the 'wonder man' from Nigeria.

At the last count, he has received, at the Nigeria House, over 42 dignitaries, including top UN diplomats among which were

He is already standing election as the Chairman of the United Nations' Budget and Administration Committee, a powerful committee that prepares and approves the entire UN system annual budget.

President Tinubu sure made the right judgment call on him, and he is set to prove bookmakers wrong. Senator Ibrahim's extensive education and parliamentary experience sure prepared him well for his new role. He may turn out to be one of the most consequential UN diplomats.
