My information & insights on the whole development have widened since writing this tweet. I let this tweet stay as proof of my misjudgment! Mistakes should exist for record & reference!
Information now at my disposal makes me believe that Pakistan Army’s role has only been that of a “Helpless Messenger” that has repeatedly been used to relieve President Trump. Before text for Shahbaz Sharif tweet arrived from Washington, they were clueless & were preparing for the US Attacks to wipe out “Iran’s Civilization” - the decision to call off attacks is entirely “Made in America” and has to be understood in the context of American debate & Iran’s hard resistance till the 11th hour - I did a usual Pakistani sin of believing in the sincerity of Pakistan Army leadership. Feeling of pride for your motherland never dies - but it often takes you to wrong analysis. I let this tweet stand as proof of “Error of Judgement” @ryangrim@HNadim87@ErikSperling@Hoffman8Jon
🇮🇷🇺🇸 How Iran hit the "unhittable" jet
The F-35 is invisible to radar. It was never invisible to heat.
Iran likely used infrared tracking systems that detect engine exhaust instead of radar signatures.
Because these systems emit no energy, the F-35's warning systems never alerted the pilot he was being targeted.
The suspected weapon: Iran's 358 missile, a hybrid between a loitering drone and a surface-to-air missile that hunts using optical and infrared sensors, bypassing stealth entirely.
Stealth dominates radar.
Physics doesn't care.

Imran Khan's sons say they are willing to risk being arrested to go to Pakistan to try and free their father.

My children are not allowed to speak on the phone to their father @ImranKhanPTI. He has been in solitary confinement in prison for nearly 2 years.
Pakistan’s government has now said if they go there to try to see him, they too will be arrested and put behind bars.
This doesn’t happen in a democracy or a functioning state. This isn’t politics. It’s a personal vendetta.
