I remembered during the Club World Cup in the US after my accreditation (which I posted) but i didn't get visa appointment at the US embassy & some colleagues were pushing narratives that I was rejected 🤣

I turned the disappointment to opportunity & I went for my UK tour where I covered the 4 Premier League games in 2 weeks.

How can someone who didn't get a visa appointment at the Embassy be rejected but cos it's Pooja, it was everywhere.

Fast-forward to 2026, got my FIFA accreditation for the World Cup, sorted my visa appointment & passed my US visa interview at US Embassy.

More lesson: There are so many people who hates as you are growing but overlook the envy & distractions & focus on your growth & hustle.

These are the issues!

I keep saying it, this generation has lost a lot of the simple home training we grew up with.

Dem no born me well make I visit my friends’ houses back then — Dafe, Ini, Stephen, Chike, David, Nnanna — and their parents are carrying loads from the market or doing something stressful while I sit down and dey press phone. E no possible!

Na we the friends go even rush help carry bags, arrange things, or assist in any way we could. It wasn’t even something anybody had to tell us. It was just how we were raised.

And the same thing happened whenever my friends came to my parents’ house. They respected my parents and were always ready to help out too.

That’s how you know children were properly trained.

These days, some people will just sit down, watch elders struggle, and act like it’s none of their business.
