If you haven’t talked to someone under the age of 20 recently they’re literally all varying levels of illiterate and I’m not trying to make a joke here
fear of abandonment and hyper independence are linked. the idea of becoming emotionally attached to someone (bc of the potential pain of them leaving) is so scary, the brain combats this closeness by triggering us to isolate when shown care and refuse help when requiring support
so y’all don’t think it’s weird that there aren’t random fruit trees in the US? like y’all don’t find it weird that we can’t just grab fruit off a tree while walking down the street?
