As an example: lotto goes 1-5. All five lotto winners cannot win lotto for the next two lotteries. That means every year 10 teams have no incentive. The teams that remain have less competition to bottom out against, so they don’t need to tank so dramatically.
@PodThorn I just think Cam doesn’t have the off ball instincts/awareness to become a winning player. He can score but that’s all he ever seemed to try doing. A lot of what Reaves has become was helped by LeBron seeing something in him. Idk if LeBron would see that in Cam
@HomerunBandit@DougNorrie@kidsmnesiac Lmao this is so cringy. Why are you on here obsessing about the nets when you’re in the finals. How obsessed with the nets are you?
@NetsPressIG No. At this point I want to desperately start consolidating assets we have enough volume of picks to keep us rolling with multiple new rookies a year. At this point we need to find ways at finding franchise players which are almost impossible to get outside top 10
@bigrockroc@NetsNationCP Would love the 11th pick. Off the last 5 been saraf is the only one I’m really worried about. Other 4 as rookies seemed to show the flashes you want to see from rookies. No home runs but he’s just never had picks to work with higher than 20’s
@2468dotcom Depends on his physical. I imagine waiving him after all the injuries means they see him as a sunk cost. Hard to know what kind of player he’ll be.
@BillyReinhardt Yea I agree the boost of talent and offense would be so nice but as you point out, not having a primary defender like a Marcus Smart type, can undermine the offensive potential
@brooklynsbeat Agreed. These picks could be franchise changing with new odds. Someone like Giannis could impact winning today but wouldn’t make sense overall with huge risk. I’d much rather make savy moves to get some vets who can win plus mentor. Build the war chest and foundation together
