Just include that % to your prices – and that’s it.. There's no problem. Your customer will pay the fee either way – it doesn’t matter whether they pay it themselves (artistree or any platform with "no" fee) or you include it in the price from the start (VGen).

I’ve finally left VGen and officially opened my commissions on Artistree! There were a lot of reasons, but the biggest one for me was the insane fee deduction. it’s already so tough for artists as it is :-!
Do anyone switch platform like me, what your reason ?

People are upset that AI-generated artists are appearing on VGen, and that the platform doesn't seem to care about human artists.
However, I should point out that I’ve seen posts more than once advertising "Giveaway: Two VGen codes!" Just a reminder: this rules from VGen

I’ve been SUPER loyal to artists on vgen and I’m sick of being surprise fee-d to death.

I can’t sort by free items or assets but someone can list an entire model for $5 and have every add on to make it closer to $800.

Then of course double or triple THAT price for monetization!

So we can diminish the customers experience on the platform in an attempt to “not race to the bottom” for artists.

When in the last year did we decide profile pictures are monetized content? When is a vtuber model NOT monetization?

Do you think realtors pay photographers for commercial usage for profile pictures or headshots? They often don’t. They’re built into headshot pricing because guess what headshots are used for! It’s not a foreign concept to know your market.

Since my return I have not worked with A SINGLE NEW ARTIST who charges these fees. I will vote with my dollar.

I’ve spent thousands on art between now and June 2025 when my vgen commissions started. In that time I’ve commissioned 80 different pieces. Not counting all the emote, whole stream package, and other large items that get bundled together.

All I’m asking is for commissioners to be prioritized too. We should be able to see queues and timeline completion rate BEFORE committing. We should be able to sort by price, no matter what it may be for our budgets.

Please, this is not too much to ask!!✨
