FACT CHECK / CLARIFICATION: NNPC’s 2025 audited accounts recorded approximately ₦11.2 trillion in receivables from the Federation, relating to advances and costs incurred on the government’s behalf, including oil and gas asset security. This is NOT proof that ₦11.2 trillion was paid to one pipeline-security contractor. The question remains: how much was spent specifically on pipeline surveillance, who received the payments, and what results did Nigerians get? We deserve a transparent breakdown. 🇳🇬 Four times the budget meant to defend an entire nation.

So, who got the contract? What exactly are we paying for? And where are the results? Nobody is saying don’t secure our pipelines. How can you believe such a story? How much is Nigeria’s 2026 budget?

In 2025 the nine oil-producing states together received ₦1.51 trillion from the 13 percent derivation fund. That is Abia, Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Bayelsa, Delta, Edo, Imo, Ondo and Rivers combined, for a full year. Asari’s figure for one company is larger than the derivation of every oil-producing state put together does that many any sense to you all?

In the first half of 2025, derivation to those states was about ₦782 billion. Delta, the largest, received ₦228.62 billion in those six months. Bayelsa received ₦165.90 billion. Akwa Ibom received ₦155.68 billion. Rivers received ₦148.68 billion. None of them, and not all of them together in that half year, approaches ₦2.7 trillion.

So ignore the lies and propaganda carried out by serial blackmailer Asari Dokubo who has spent years making large public claims and then demanding to be noticed.
