This is a story about how my friends and I thought we were bridesmaids in a wedding, but were told otherwise ON THE WEDDING DAY 😅 -A thread.
So a friend asked me and two other mutual friends , to “be a part of her wedding”. We were excited!
@myJPSonline I would like back some electricity soon please. It’s been over 7 hours since the outage. We were told it would be restored in 6hrs. No maintenance team not even reach yet. #HowComes
We were sent the style of the dress to purchase the material and have the dresses made. All three of us found a dressmaker and got our measurements done, bought the fabric and started the process. The entire time we kept checking in with the bride to be.
All three of us stood looking at each other like 👀. Everyone was paired off with who they were marching with and we were standing to the side. We called the Bride to find out what was happening, because no one on site had answers.
My girls and I get to the venue early and were inquiring about who we will march with, if we would be getting a bouquet etc…and everyone seemed confused. Lo and behold -The Bridal Party- arrived soon after , dressed completely different from us.
I was a teenager at the time and very excited to be in our friend’s wedding. We were told we could get dressed from home and just come early to the venue. And so we did! Dressed to the T!
After having the dresses made, we kept asking other details about rehearsals etc and were told that we just needed to show up on the day in our beautiful dresses. We even got a request to all have our hair done the same way. No problem!
