Basins Development Authority held two months performance evaluation meeting at management level on Monday. Briefing about the meeting the Authority’s Director General Dr.Adanech Yared said evaluating our performance is vital to grasp on our status.

The Authority is headquartered in Addis Ababa having Basin Development Offices in Bahir Dar, Hawassa and Werer. It has also branch ofices in Adama, Dubti, Nekemte, Assosa, Debre Markos , and Zeway.

The Authority has been established with the objective to implement sustainable and integrated development, administration and utilization of the water resources at a basin level in equitable and participatory manner.
