Football discourse does not need to be louder to be better. The truth often gets buried beneath all the noise and outrage.
I am interested in context over outrage, criticism without tribalism, and conclusions that outlast the narrative of the moment.
This account is for observing clearly about Arsenal & the EPL — especially when emotions run high.
@Wanalyst007 Gyokeres’ impact has been exaggerated while Eze’s impact has been underrated.
In the end it doesn’t matter, they are both our players and they both deserve our backing but not without criticism. Because of tribalism, criticism is often interpreted as hate which is annoying.
@Wanalyst007 I think this whole thing around Gyokeres has been blown out of proportion in reaction to how strong his online fanbase is & how often posts stating “he won us the league” is floating around.
@MarcusO44352154@VictoryOwai I hear you. However I don’t think the gap between the level he is now and the level I expect from a Saka backup is that high, that gap can be coached out. I shouldnt have used ‘WC winger’
@Wanalyst007 With Bruno G, I really do think Martinelli can be our runner on the left and can flourish. I wish he stays, has a good season, extends for one year and leaves on a high note next window. He is really one of ours.
@ctt_carys I honestly feel bad for him. He tried hard. He plays with heart. Just because he has flaws doesn’t make me hate him. Clearly not at the level required at the club, I hope he gets a move that optimises his strength. He deserves that.
