Imagine carrying a child for nine months, enduring every emotional and physical challenge that comes with pregnancy, and then discovering after birth that the baby is not even biologically yours.
“If I can’t see you working, maybe you are not working” is the mindset of most corporate cultures. Talks about flexibility and WFH often sound good only in conversations. In reality, for many companies, it’s still just an idea, not acceptance. #ToxicWorkCulture
That pause among all the women in the scene says so much. It shows that almost all women have, at some point, experienced some form of non-consensual touch in their lives.
In that moment, I felt… sometimes, just being a woman is so difficult, so unsafe.

Simple and powerful. It makes you realise that it’s never just one culprit. It is also the silence around it. Society, system, families… all of us who ignore it become part of it.
The most heart-hitting part of the series was when Kamlesh said that only those women should walk away who have never been touched without their consent.
Ahaan Panday as a debutant is beyond words, he lived the role. And the female lead was equally brilliant. The movie truly deserves the applause it’s getting. 🙌

Honestly, I was a bit judgmental about all the hype around #Saiyaara. I thought it was just noise. But after watching it today, I get it. The film really touched my heart.
